This is a very old version, which I potentially need for compatibility with some legacy systems. But at $299, it's almost the same price and the most recent version (and $102 more than the current version for non-profits). Am I misunderstanding anything here?

I have PMP 3.0 v4, using it for years. Really like it, but my question: is it possible to program the F buttons? Ex: I would like to set F4 to type the "degree symbol - little circle." Possible?
